Carole's Kitchen opened in April 2023, following the closure of 'The Turbine Cafe' within the Worksop Turbine Innovation Centre

It's never easy to start a new venture in a place where customers are used to a set menu, staff, opening hours and services.

With this in mind, Carole decided the best way was to go back to the beginning - grow and develop with her customers, bring in new ideas, listen to what people want, add a few twists along the way, and the new venture began to find its feet.

We have a small staff group, mostly all from a catering / hospitality background, who work well together, each bringing in their own strength to certain areas, as well as being good 'all rounders'

• Carole - Owner / Director / Manager
• Alison - A local lady who joined us after a short break when the previous cafe closed down, Alison has also worked in hospitality - Her 'chopping skills are amazing!!!
• Ayesha - A background in the Care Sector and NHS before she joined us, a keen ladies footballer who we are proud to sponsor.
• Debbie - Prevously worked over 25 years in a local care home kitchen.
• Jenny - A local lady who joined us after a short break when the previous cafe closed down, Jenny previously catered at a local colliery, hospital and factory.
• Kensie - Works in hospitality at a local golf club and helps out where she can whilst studying her midwifery degree
• Sharon - Comes to us from a retail background in catering.
